Tricolage was honored to have been selected by the JNTO to exhibit at  “Japan Luxury Showcase 2021”, an event attended by buyers and sellers of the luxury travel market to promote Japan as a luxury travel destination. This year the event was completely online, bringing together buyers from all over the world over 4 days of one-on-one meet-ups and seminars. Among over 60 exhibitors from Japan, Tricolage was the only travel designer focused on sustainable travel at the event. We met with many buyers from around the world, and showcased the kind of luxury travel foreign travelers can experience in Japan. 

With itineraries and themes carefully designed to travel responsibly and to be conscious to the communities and the environment, we felt we educated and encouraged the buyers we met to think about the sustainability aspects of their products and services, and to nudge overseas travelers to make more sustainable travel choices. We ourselves were encouraged to have met buyers enthusiastic about making travel more sustainable, and about travel being a driver for positive change.  We’re looking forward to partnering with these companies, and building back a better, kinder, travel industry.
