A comprehensive risk assessment will be done for your program before your arrival.  We follow the latest advice of the health authorities and the Japanese government, monitor developments closely, and are committed to working with our partners to ensure a safe journey for you and your party.

We have put in place a list of safeguarding measures that prioritise what matters most to you.

1. Pre-arrival health declaration

Before you arrive, guests will be asked to provide the following information:

  • A negative Covid-19 test certificate issued within 72 hours before departure

  • Vaccination status

  • Quarantine requirements have been complied with

  • Declaration of any potential exposure to the virus if applicable

2. Health and Safety

We’ll adhere to strict health and hygiene standards, and assist our guests by providing the following:

  • Daily temperature checks, hand sanitizers, mandatory masks

  • English medical helpline

  • Emergency response plan

  • Guidance on government restrictions and guidelines

  • Covid testing for guides 72 hours before trip

3. Social distancing

Our low-density destination and programs are planned to ensure your comfort and safety by offering the following:

  • Small group size to avoid crowds

  • Shorter, smaller scale, local events

  • Hybrid virtual & live events

  • Private room restaurant bookings

4. Local Support

Rest assured with our comprehensive on-trip support, including:
